When the device status is Device not recognized during a firmware update in IT Expert, it is usually because the device IP address was reused, or the device is not configured properly in the Gateway.

IMPORTANT: After you make any changes to devices in the Gateway, you must rediscover the affected devices.
Some EcoStruxure IT features may not work properly when device IP addresses are not configured correctly.
