EcoStruxure IT Gateway 1.16 release notes

The Gateway must be at a minimum of version 1.6.0 to upgrade to newer Gateway versions.

Gateway 1.16.2 release notes

This release improves the stability of device firmware updates in IT Expert.

All Gateways in your organization must be at version 1.16.2 to perform firmware updates in IT Expert.

This release addresses an issue in the installer.

Improvements to unsupported device list

The list of unsupported devices on the Discover Devices page can now be cleared.

Click View details and then select the devices you want to clear from the list.

To view information about devices that were previously cleared from the list, click View details and select Show cleared.

Updated installer

Updates from Gateway version 1.8+ perform a backup that is stored in the install directory.

Spring Boot replaced Tomcat to address security issues.
The web server now supports TLS 1.3.

Improvements to rPDU control

The Control option is now available for all supported switched rack PDU devices.

Command to import an SSL certificate changed

As of Gateway 1.16, the path to import a self-signed SSL certificate has changed.

Device walk utility

The device walk utility has been updated.

Issues fixed

Linux installations with non-default directories now install and upgrade as expected.
