How to test alarm email notifications sent from IT Expert

Configure email notifications in IT Expert. Go to Administration > Alarm email.

Configure alarm thresholds in ITE. Go to Alarms > Thresholds > Configure new thresholds.

Cause an event on a device that is monitored by ITE.
You can temporarily cause an increase or decrease on a temperature sensor, for example.

Check IT Expert to make sure an alarm occurred.

Check your email for a notification.
