    How to restart the Gateway Service

    WARNING

    This procedure will temporarily stop the service. Some sensor or alarm updates might be missed until the service restart is complete.

    This should only be done under the direction of Customer Support. 
    In the examples below, replace X.X.X with your Gateway version number.
     

    Windows

    1. Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
    2. Restart the "EcoStruxureITGateway Server - X.X.X" service.

    Linux

    1. Open Terminal and run:
     sudo systemctl restart EcoStruxureITGateway-X.X.X.service

    NOTE: The systemctl command can be run from any directory by sudo users.
