Improved subscription management
December 2019
It's now easier to activate a new EcoStruxure IT Expert subscription or renew current IT Expert subscriptions.
When you reach the end of your IT Expert trial period, purchase your software subscription through your preferred partner or contact your regional Customer Success Manager to help you.
Once your purchase is confirmed, you'll receive an email with your license key. Just enter the license key in IT Expert on the Administration > Subscriptions tab.
Device Security assessment

A Device Security assessment is now available on the Assessments tab in IT Expert. You can mitigate security risks and save time by having visibility into whether your APC devices are close to end of life, are running old firmware, or have vulnerable configurations.
Math functions

Alarm email

EcoStruxure IT Expert administrators can now set up an email address to send critical or warning alarms or both. Emails can be sent to an individual, a ticketing system, or, for example, a partner. More
Call priority

IT Expert Administrator users can now configure the call priority used by the Schneider Electric Service Bureau for the entire organization or for each location in the organization. Drag and drop the contacts to change the call priority. More information

Improved UPS and alarm assessments

On the Assessments tab in IT Expert, you can now see tips on how to improve your UPS scores and a history of significant changes to help you make educated choices. A new Alarm assessment gives you visibility into alarms that have occurred in the last 30 days.
Firmware update

On the Management > Firmware Update tab of the IT Expert web interface, you can now update the firmware on APC devices. More information
Device configuration

On the Management > Device Configuration tab of the IT Expert web interface, you can now select an APC SNMP device to use as the source to configure settings on other APC SNMP devices monitored by an EcoStruxure IT Gateway 1.5.0 and greater. More information
