An error occurs when the filesystem fails to mount using the fs mount command in the Gateway appliance private network CLI.
Successfully mounted the remote filesystem but was unable to write to the mount point - /mnt/XXX. Unmounted. |
This error is returned for a variety of reasons. Type fs show —host <IP address of remote share> to see more details about the cause.
When mounting a filesystem share, make sure that:
-
The file share is accessible and writeable.
-
The proper credentials are entered when prompted and that these credentials can access the share with read and write permissions.
-
The host and share name are correct.
-
Any required options for the file server are specified with the --options parameter.
