There is a known issue upgrading to 9.3.0 affecting all existing online IT Advisor 9.2.x versions on CentOS 8 (offline upgrade is not supported). Please perform a clean install of IT Advisor 9.3.0 and then restore a backup file (from 9.2.x).

A known Polkit vulnerability in the Linux distribution shipped with ITA 9.x has been discovered.
Customers running ITA 9.3.0 can mitigate the vulnerability by manually upgrading Linux distribution packages using Webmin.
Customers running ITA versions prior to 9.3.0 are recommended to upgrade to ITA 9.3.1 when it is released in mid-February to obtain the fix. -
There is a known issue installing or upgrading to ITA 9.3.0 on machines that use EFI that prevents the VM from starting.
Customers who deploy ITA on machines that use EFI should wait until to upgrade until ITA 9.3.1 is released in mid-February.

Energy Efficiency module available for current DCO license holders
The Energy Efficiency module is now available in IT Advisor 9.1.2 for on-premises deployments only, for DCO customers who have purchased the Energy Efficiency module in the past and upgrade to IT Advisor 9.1.2 or newer only. A new license is not required.
A clean install and restore from backup is required when moving from DCO to ITA for security reasons (postgresql upgrade and base system upgrade).
