Redundant EcoStruxure IT Gateways can reduce latency for organizations that have multiple locations or in large installations. There is no charge for additional Gateways.
Install redundant Gateways
-
Install and configure two EcoStruxure IT Gateways the same way on two different servers that are always on, or on two Gateway Appliances.
See Installing and setting up EcoStruxure IT Gateway. -
Discover the same devices on each Gateway.
-
Connect both Gateways to your EcoStruxure IT account.
Note: Devices that are monitored by two Gateways appear the EcoStruxure IT Inventory only once.
